About Me -

I’m a celebrant from Longford who believes that life’s most important moments deserve to be celebrated in a way that feels personal, meaningful, and completely true to you.

I have successfully operated my own business in Co. Longford for over 30 years. I am also a public speaker and regularly host my own slot on the Joe Finnegan Show on Shannonside FM. Needless to say, working with and connecting with people has always been at the heart of what I do!

I specialise in creating modern ceremonies that reflect the individuality of each couple or family I work with. Whether it’s a wedding, vow renewal, baby naming or another special milestone, my goal is to design a ceremony that tells your story in a way that feels authentic, relaxed, and memorable.

I love getting to know the people behind each ceremony. By working closely together, we can create something that celebrates your journey, your values, and the moments that matter most to you. No two ceremonies are ever the same — each one is carefully crafted to reflect the personalities, traditions, and love that make your story unique.

What does the ceremony fee include?

Your ceremony fee includes:

An initial consultation (phone, video call, or in person)
Guidance in designing a personalised ceremony
Help writing vows, readings, or symbolic elements if desired
Unlimited email contact during the planning process
The writing and delivery of your ceremony
Professional presentation and officiation on the day

My aim is to create a warm, meaningful and memorable ceremony that reflects your story.

Can we personalise the ceremony?

Absolutely. Personalisation is at the heart of what I do.

You can include elements such as:

Personal vows
Family involvement
Readings or poems
Cultural or spiritual traditions
Symbolic rituals (handfasting, candle ceremonies, sand ceremonies etc.)

Every ceremony is written specifically for you.

How far will you travel?

I am based in Co. Longford and travel throughout Ireland.

Travel within 30 km is included in the ceremony fee.
For locations beyond this, a €0.50 per km travel fee (return distance) applies.

If your ceremony is a long distance away, I will always provide a clear travel quote in advance.

How far in advance should we book?

For weddings, I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, particularly for popular summer dates.

For funerals or baby naming ceremonies, I can usually accommodate bookings at shorter notice.

Are you legally able to marry us?

Some celebrants perform legal marriages, while others perform symbolic ceremonies.

I perform symbolic ceremonies you can complete the legal paperwork separately through the HSE civil registration service. Click here for more information.

This option allows couples to have complete freedom in designing their ceremony.
